Adam Milne – Owner
Adam earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, in 2008 and went on to earn his Master’s degree in 2024. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate, which he expects to complete in late 2026.
Following his undergraduate studies, Adam began his professional career in sales, gaining valuable experience in both the automotive and retail industries. His career in the insurance industry began in 2015, when he worked with Farmers, State Farm, and Nationwide. His experience with these captive insurance carriers provided him with a strong foundation in the industry while also demonstrating the importance of providing clients with insurance solutions based on their individual needs and best interests.
Recognizing the advantages of the independent agency model, Adam established his own independent insurance agency and became an affiliate of Pacific Crest Independent Insurance Alliance in late 2018. Through this partnership, he is able to provide clients throughout the local community with a comprehensive range of insurance and financial services, including property and casualty, life, health, disability, supplemental, and long-term care insurance.
Adam has also earned the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation from The National Underwriter Company. This specialized training provides him with additional knowledge and expertise in commercial insurance and allows him to better serve business owners by understanding the unique risks they face and helping them identify appropriate coverage solutions.
Outside of his professional career, Adam is an avid scuba diver and Divemaster. He volunteers at a local Austin dive shop, where he assists with scuba instruction and helps introduce others to the sport he enjoys. Adam also loves to travel and takes advantage of opportunities to explore new destinations, particularly through cruising, which allows him to combine his passion for travel with his love of diving and discovering new dive sites.
When he is not working or diving, Adam enjoys movies and television, both classic and new, as well as playing board games with friends and family. He is always up for an adventure, whether that means taking a weekend trip to a casino, going bowling, singing karaoke, or playing a few games of billiards.
Adam is a strong believer in the importance of community involvement and giving back to the organizations and communities that have played a meaningful role in his life. Since 2015, he has served as a board member, executive committee member, and volunteer for numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, the Austin Gay Men’s Chorus, and the Austin Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. He is also a graduate of S.P.A.R.K., a leadership program focused on developing community and homeowners’ association leaders.
